Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones offers high quality  Digital Noise Cancellation sound.

This specific model also includes Smart Listening which can detect your activity and automatically adjusts the sound level in real-time.

Want to turn the volume down? Cover the right ear and the sound will slowly decrease ; if you want to take a phone call, you can tap and switch and take the call? (you won’t need to frantically search fro the right button!)

Headphones are expensive , but if you’re worth the investment – they’re durable and you’ll fall in love with the new features. I think they’re the best pair of wireless headphones people on-the-go: business professionals, workout enthusiasts, and daily commuters.

Apart from the bargain price tag , the WaveSound Headphones have a lot of features to love.

What I like the best is the excellent noise cancelling sound  – usually I wouldn’t get too excited because it’s become a standard for wireless headphones (not to mention bluetooth headphones), but again, the price tag is irresistible.

** We’ll update #8 – 10 best wireless headphones soon! Stay tuned!

Noise cancellation is a newer technology. It was originally created to improve radio communications in otherwise noisy environments such as an airplane cockpit. In fact it was first developed in Nasa!

To create the noise canceling effect, each headset cup has a built-in microphone that samples the ambient noise at the ear. The noise signal is fed into the electronic circuit analyzing it and produces a mirror image of the noise, which is then added back to the music signal. Some of the real noise is offset by the mirrored reverse noise.

Since this is an electronic process, the noise cancellation circuit requires a battery to operate.

Passive noise isolation

All the best wireless headphones should have noise isolation.

Noise isolating earbuds and headphones can isolate ambient noise by themselves without a battery. Adjustable earbuds on headphones and extra earbuds on headphones act as a physical barrier to prevent unwanted noise from entering your ears. Obstacles like this also help prevent people around you from hearing your music.

Active noise cancellation

For extra noise cancellation in addition to passive noise isolation, the microphone’s internal and external microphones can measure unwanted ambient noise, and the circuitry in the headset then produces sound at the frequency of eliminating these noises. Some of the best wireless headphones have this feature – if turned on, active noise cancellation will absolutely work.
